Introducing the eVersity Alumni Association

The University of Arkansas System eVersity today launched the eVersity Alumni Association to help serve the many graduates who chose the 100 percent-online institution since its launch in fall 2015.

“We admit, it’s not a fully developed concept just yet, but we want to involve graduates in the process of trying to make this something we can all be proud of,” said Michael Moore, Ph.D., chief academic/operating officer at eVersity. “Despite being a 100 percent-online institution, I’ve witnessed our students forming unique bonds and really supporting and motivating each other along the way. We want to turn this into something that’s responsive to what graduates want and driven by building it together.”

The initial alumni concept page can be found at The page features an introductory video from Moore explaining the effort.

The page also hosts a form to allow graduates to:
  • — Sign up for a free periodic alumni newsletter
  • — Opt in to become an eVersity Ambassador to help guide and motivate future students through the application/enrollment process
  • — Tell their story to help the institution provide inspiration to potential students
  • — Give the institution valuable feedback to help build the alumni association
