Open Letter to UA System Faculty, Staff and Students

Faculty, staff and students of the University of Arkansas System eVersity are aware of the many benefits of its affiliation with the state’s premier educational system. While the Covid-19 pandemic has – and continues to – have an effect on many UA System institutions, divisions and units, everyone at eVersity is fortunate that the 100 percent-online nature of this institution has allowed us to continue operating at our normal pace with very limited repercussions and absolutely no interruptions to our students’ pursuit of finishing their degrees.

While many of eVersity’s employees are choosing to safely work from home, we are meeting regularly and operating as normally as possible to continue providing our students the high-quality online experience in which they’re accustomed to enjoying.

However, the chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Arkansas and the president of the UA System have penned an open letter to faculty, staff and students at all UA System institutions to reinforce its commitment to all of the high-quality educational experiences it provides. We want our eVersity folks to feel comfortable about our path moving forward and to know that, while we are different, we are all in this together. Take a minute to read the letter (linked below) and let us know if you have any questions or comments by emailing Michael Moore, chief academic/operating officer at eVersity, at mmoore@uasys.edu. Keep up the good work!
