At University of Arkansas Grantham, we evaluate prior learning and experience in and outside the classroom so you get credit for the time you’ve already invested in your education — saving you both time and money in the pursuit of your degree.

Credit for Your Prior Academic Experience

University of Arkansas Grantham accepts transfer academic credit from institutions accredited by agencies recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and/or the Council for Higher Education. Previously taken courses that are out of date in regards to latest developments, practices, or technology are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

In order for UA Grantham to evaluate potential transfer credit, the student is responsible for ensuring official transcripts are on file for all previously attended institutions prior to course registration.

Transfer credit is granted on a course-by-course basis for courses with content and value that’s equivalent to corresponding UA Grantham course(s). Credit will not be granted for courses in which the content duplicates material of a previously completed course or an examination for which credit has already been granted — with the exception of repeats for deficient course grades.

Transferring College Credit
